Fri. Oct 21. - Open your books to p 183 and read the Page SILENTLY!!!! Then, read the 4 articles that follow that talk about the death of Poe. When you are finished reading, do all 3 questions on the top of p 191 to the best of your ability. Turn in your work at the end of class. This will count as a QUIZ grade in my gradebook so do a good job.

Fri. Oct 7 I spoke to Mr. Stanley this morning about your work. For today, finish reading the Interlopers. Then answer questions 3,4,5,and 6 on p 157 for a grade in my gradebook. Turn in at bell. You do not have to copy the questions, just answer them in complete sentences. We will have a seating chart on Tues. till I learn your names.


Wed. Oct.12- Look at the words impunity and retribution on p 172. What part of speech are they? Are they synonyms or antonyms? Use each word correctly in a sentence. Then, copy the questions from the board onto a piece of paper. As we read the story, we will pause for you you to answer the questions. You will turn them in after we finish reading for a quiz grade.
